Gindin Wiebe Segal Law is a premiere Criminal Defence and full-service Immigration Law firm. Our lawyers come from diverse and immersive backgrounds and deliver boutique legal services to clients in Manitoba and beyond. We are seeking up to two full-time articling students for the year 2025/2026.

The vision of Gindin Wiebe Segal Law is to deliver top-tier Criminal Defence and full-service Immigration Law employing relentless courtroom advocacy and achieving the best possible results for our clients. Our articling experience is predominantly focused on Criminal Law. Our articling students will quickly develop advanced courtroom experience through practical advocacy training and courtroom attendance. Students will be offered personalized mentorship from all Gindin Wiebe Segal lawyers. This includes cross examining select witnesses, performing trial preparation, arguing bail and release matters, speaking to sentences, and developing legal analysis and tactical strategy. Mentorship and practical experiences are important to students who seek a career in our practice areas. Gindin Wiebe Segal lawyers and partners include former students, and the firm continues to grow by retaining candidates who excel during articling.

Candidates should demonstrate critical thinking, organization and prioritization, and the ability to work independently. Candidates should demonstrate their fit as first point of contact for clients and explain their passion for our intensive practice areas during the interview process. In particular, candidates should highlight experiences outside of law that motivate them in our specialized fields.
